The name of the organisation shall be Al-Shifa Medical Association of United Kingdom also referred to as ASMA, UK.

The Association shall be independent, professional, Charitable and a non-profit making organisation. It may establish affiliation with other organisations with similar aims and objectives.

1) To promote better, understanding, appreciation and practice of Islam and discourage un-islamic practices, activities and laws.

2) To encourage professional interaction amongst the Muslim Physicians and Allied Health Professional.

3) To help Muslim doctors and Allied Health Professionals in U.K. in adjustment, passing exams, and 'finding better training and job opportunities.

4) To promote and facilitate Medical education, research, publications and better health delivery throughout the World.

5) To organise medical relief work and other charitable activities.
